A woman who was training with the Franklin County Board of Elections has been hospitalized after contracting bacterial meningitis. Currently, health officials don’t know how she got the disease, but are investigating. They assessed the situation and believe it’s a low exposure risk, but have contacted the (100) people she spent two hours training with at the Board of Elections. (deb)
