Philadelphia, not Columbus, chosen to host DNC 2016
DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has confirmed that Philadelphia was chosen to host the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Columbus was a finalist, along with New York, and the sentiment overall was that the city was a strong contender and likely choice.

According to CNN, a “source with knowledge” has said that Philadelphia will host the upcoming 2016 Democratic National Convention. The Democratic National Committee hasn’t confirmed it and the official announcement is scheduled for Thursday.
