FYI: last day to register to vote
Today is the last day (aka the deadline, if you want to sound more official) to register to vote for the May 5 primary and special election. So if you want a deciding vote in the over 335 local issues ranging from school and tax levies to charter amendments, make sure you’re registered and all your information is up-to-date. You can update and register online at MyOhioVote.com or pick up the form(s) from local boards of elections or other public places like the library.
Also of note: Absentee voting for the primary election starts Tuesday & voted ballots must be postmarked the day before Election Day and received before/on May 15th. (deb)
