There’s something about the number three that people like: triple your chances of winning, third place bronze, three times charm, triple cherries. But there’s one three that’s going to make alot of people unhappy: triple the cost. And under Gov. Kasich’s budget, a new sales tax would essentially triple the cost of e-cigarettes. The tax would increase the cost of a milliliter bottle of liquid nicotine (used in e-cigarettes) to $33.75 instead of its current $18-$20, plus sales tax.
E-cigarettes aren’t regulated by the FDA and this new tax would be a first. (deb)
