There’s a fiery new chief in town

Retired Chief Gregory Paxton has a replacement! Yesterday, Mayor Coleman announced that Kevin O’Connor was appointed as the new (and 24th) Chief of the Columbus Division of Fire. O’Connor joined the department in 1989, and with 26 years of experience, I think he’ll be able to put out a few fires- both literally and bureaucratically. (deb)
