A 13-year-old boy is facing three felony counts after stealing the gun of a Franklin County Sheriff’s deputy out of the officer’s personal car. The deputy and members of the Columbus Police Department gave chase and eventually caught up with the young teen and recovered the weapon along with other items taken from the vehicle.
Cameron Bentley is charges with grand theft firearm, CCW (carrying concealed weapon) and weapons under disability. There was also a warrant out on Bentley for a probation violation…another felony.
Not exactly off to the best start, are you, Cameron?
