Reynoldsburg: Kids collect Snickers with razor blade inside during trick-or-treat
Halloween is generally a fun time for children and adults. But not everyone approaches it with the same good intentions.
Reynoldsburg Police report that a group of trick-or-treaters, when dividing up their candy after a night of door-to-door begging, discovered a Snickers bar with a disposable razor blade hidden inside.
After the kids found the tainted bar, authorities were called. With some of the other candies also appearing questionable, police gathered the Snickers and the rest of the night’s collection and took it all away.
The kids had been trick-or-treating in the areas of Kingsley Drive and Taylor Road.
Police advise children and parents to closely inspect any candy collected during trick-or-treat night before consuming it.
Update: Police in Hebron (30 minutes East of Columbus) are investigating a report that someone was passing out pot-laced candy Thursday night.)
