Shot by police, suspect leads police on 10-mile chase
An Ashville police officer responding to a call about an armed man at a self-storage facility became engaged in a struggle with the suspect…and the suspect was shot. Wounded, the man led police on a 10-mile car chase.
The incident, just south of Columbus, ended on Route 188 when the suspect crashed his vehicle and then tried to run off on foot. He was taken into custody.
