3 dead after head-on car crash

Three people are dead after a head-on crash in Licking County, near the Franklin County border. Last night around 9:20PM, two cars crashed into each other on Broad St., near Taylor Rd. Medics on the scene reported critical injuries and two of the victims were taken to Mt. Carmel Hospital, while the third was taken to Grant Medical Center. All three were later pronounced dead at the hospital.

One news outlet is reporting that the three victims are Sotir and Kata Petrovski and John Wemmer. And while the cause of the crash is unknown, 10TV has reported that witnesses told police Petrovski’s car was seen going left of center and hitting Wemmer’s car head-on. (deb)
