Coleman ready to go out on a limb with major tree announcement
Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman today is scheduled to deliver an announcement about the city’s growth. In this case, we’re not talking about jobs, infrastructure or anything like that. Instead, we’re talking about natural growth…specifically…trees.
The mayor will speak at Weinland Park today and announce an initiative to plant more than 200,000 trees across the city over the span of the next five years. Expect more details later today. (jj)
