Update: Weekend accident causing 315 to crumble onto trail below
Columbus Police say that concrete is falling from Route 315 onto the Olentangy Trail below.
A weekend accident on 315 appears to have damaged the highway barrier causing the concrete to tumble in pieces. Inspectors say that the roadway is safe for motorists, but the portion of the trail between West 3rd Avenue and the Goodale pedestrian bridge will remain closed until repairs can be made. Folks traveling northbound on the trail can use the pedestrian bridge as a detour to pick up the trail again at West 3rd. (jj)
