Kroger is recalling four store-brand seasonings due to potential contamination. In a recent test conducted by the FDA, one of the products tested positive for salmonella. With multiple items packaged on the same line, Kroger is recalling the following seasonings as a precautionary measure:
- Kroger Ground Cinnamon (18.3 oz)
- Kroger Garlic Powder (24.7 oz)
- Kroger Coarse Ground Black Pepper (17.1 oz)
- Kroger Bac/n Buds (12 oz)
There have been no reports of illness from these products. Kroger asks that if you have any of the items involved in the recall that you return them to the store for a refund or replacement. (jj)
