The Columbus Metropolitan Library has announced plans for its reopening / unveiling. The downtown branch of the Main Library has been closed since April and the beginning of a $30 million renovation. Officials have set June 25th as the date of the grand reopening.
In talking about the changes, CML’s Gregg Dodd tells Cbus Libraries that ‘libraries used to be about collections, now they are about connections.’ The changes that the public will see when the library opens its doors next June should reflect that. (jj)
