Number of concealed-carry permits issued declines in most recent period

The Ohio Attorney General’s office says that the number of new concealed-carry permits issued declined in the last period (July through September) compared to the numbers from three months prior. The number of permits issued continues to run ahead of the figures from one year ago.
For the period ending September 30th, Attorney General Mike DeWine’s office says that:
- 16,000 new permits were issued
- 10,1029 permits were renewed
- 280 permits were denied
- 334 permits were suspended
- 95 permits were revoked
