Update: Missing Westside girl is back home with family

Update: Aqiera Brown, the 12-year-old girl reported missing from her Westside home, is now back safe with her father.

Columbus Police are asking for help in finding 12-year-old Aqiera Brown. Aqiera’s father reports that the two of them went shopping on the day after Christmas and they then returned to their home on the city’s Southwest side. The father left to go to work for two days and when he returned, his daughter was gone. She has not been seen since.

She is described as a biracial female, 5’3 and weighing 120 pounds.  She has black hair and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black leggings.

Anyone with information on Aquiera’s whereabout is asked to call the Missing Persons division at 614-645-4624.
