School bus accident injures 2

An accident near Walnut Ridge High School involving a Columbus City Schools bus and another vehicle left two people injured this afternoon.

One person was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition. Another person (the bus driver) was taken to Mount Carmel East, also in stable condition. Eight middle school students riding in the bus were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital just as a precaution.  (jj)
