Update: School bus crashes in West Columbus
Update: A little more information on the cause of the crash has been released. It appears that the bus driver had a heart attack and drifted into the curb at the intersection. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Six kids from Imagine Academy were on the bus, but they’ve reported no injuries.
Police did say that several “good Samaritans” and bystanders helped saved the bus driver’s life. Like a nurse who stopped to help the driver, and others who kicked in the bus door so that the driver could be reached.
