Travolta helps bring attention to missing Columbus woman
John Travolta’s presence in central Ohio is now leading to new attention being focused on a missing Columbus woman. 22 year-old mother-of-two Jayme Bowen went missing in April of last year. Bowen was thought to be making a short walk from her sister’s home to her parent’s home, but she never got there. By all appearances, the case went cold quickly and its remained that way. The organizer of a group trying to keep her story in the forefront waited recently near the location where Travolta was filming scenes for his upcoming movie I Am Wrath. Erick Bellomy caught up with the actor and was able to get a picture of Travolta holding a ‘missing’ poster for Jayme. That pic is now being shared on facebook, spreading word of the missing woman around the globe. (jj)
