Windy weather whips down house

Around 5:30PM last night, a brick building on S. Ohio Ave. (near Oak St.) partially collapsed. The bricks spilled out onto the sidewalk and caused a portion of the road to be closed as firefighters and police assessed the damage. Firefighters reported that the building is old and the weather (strong winds, rain) was likely a factor for the collapse. No injuries were reported, but S. Ohio Ave. will be closed for part of today.
