Why is that Lilly Pulitzer model so happy?

She’s probably happy because she *got* a piece from the recently launched Lilly Pulitzer Target line. Ok, for those who don’t know, here’s the 411 for what went down in the (614) + nationally.

Earlier this year, Lilly Pulitzer announced a new partnership with Target; the store would sell an exclusive line of Lilly Pulitzer online and in-stores starting April 19th. And when stores opened yesterday, it became a mad house of pastel florals. Like, just search: #LillyforTarget on Twitter for photographic proof. The lines at Target wrapped around blocks, they sold-out of items in minutes, and the Target website crashed because of all the traffic. Target is currently working on restocking and getting their stores and website back to normal.
