A blood sample, which was being tested, at a Reynoldsburg Ohio Department of Health Laboratory, for Ebola has come back negative. The sample was from a 10-year-old boy from Liberia who was visiting family and friends in Toledo. After developing a low-grade fever, he was admitted to Promedica Toledo Children’s Hospital (where he’s been for the past week). Now that Ebola has been ruled out, the lab is testing for other diseases, like malaria. (deb)
