Even though it’s still several months away, it’s time to start thinking about the Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon. The event has been sold out eight-years in a row, which is why organizers are opening registration starting this Sunday (Feb. 1). And if the early registration date wasn’t enough to “pump you up!”, race organizers have announced that they’re adding 1,000 to 12,000 spots for the half (but the full will stay at 7,000 runners). The race will be on Oct. 18, which means that since it’s about nine months away – I have plenty of time to reconsider that “run a half marathon” NY’s Resolution.
