Great news for all of those people who say that its so hard to find a CVS…..
In a Monday announcement, CVS says that they are purchasing Target stores pharmacy and clinic operations. The deal (worth $1.9 billion) will put CVS pharmacies in place of the already existing pharmacies inside of Target stores. In addition, newly built Target stores will also include CVS outlets inside. Think store-within-a-store.
Down the line, the two retailers plan to open a small chain of small stores called Target Express that will also include a CVS. (jj)
