1 in 4 Central Ohio employers expect to add jobs before end of year

worknowA new survey from employment company Manpower shows that 25% of Ohio employers plan to add positions before the end of 2015.

Of the companies included in the study, 1 in 4 says that they will increase staff levels by the close of the year. At the same time, 4% of businesses say that they have plans to decrease their workforce. The net numbers are not quite as good as projections for the third quarter of the year. but sizably better than one year ago.

*69% of local employers expect to keep their staffing at current levels.

Survey results for Columbus are better than the national average where 21% of employers expect to add positions with 6% cutting back.  (jj)
