4 of-a-kind: Charges for group accused of ripping off ‘house’
Columbus Police have busted a group of four people suspected of robbing a wealthy Hollywood Casino player. Detectives say that two women lured the player out of the casino and that the three of them made their way back to his place. While the ladies kept the gentleman occupied, their two male counterparts entered the home. (The women had made sure to leave the door unlocked.) According to reports, the guys got their hands on $10,000 worth of tools and sporting goods. The women helped themselves to the victim’s wallet and cash. Surveillance video was used to help ID the suspects who were later picked up in Athens. Each member of the group is charged with one count of burglary and seven counts of theft. (jj)
