Pickerington Police Officer Jeremy Doran stepped in to action last week and helped to save a 1 year-old poodle. Annie the poodle belongs to 81 year-old Dorothy Whisenant. Dorothy says that Annie escaped her car in a pharmacy parking lot last week, ran out into a busy intersection and was promptly struck by a passing vehicle. Officer Doran grabbed Annie and took her to two veterinarians for emergency care. (The first vet was closed.) And…after all of this…he helped Dorothy to fix a flat tire on her car. In the end, Dorothy, Annie and the tire are all doing fine. Officer Doran says that he was happy to help and that Dorothy reminded him of his grandmother.
