Columbus named one of America’s best cities for creatives

This will not likely comes as shocking news to anyone in the (614), but it’s always nice to hear. A new survey by SmartAsset (a financial date site) has named Columbus as the 6th best city in America for creative professionals. In assembling their list, SmartAsset considered the cost of living and the number of people in the community working in a creative profession. The research showed Columbus with a cost of living 8.5% below the national average and approximately 76 creative workers out of every 10,000 residents. The site lists the number of colleges and universities and the number of museums in the area as reasons for the city placing so well.
