Crowdfunding Spotlight: Flux Guitars

Generally, this is someone who has ideas and goals for a product or service, but needs a bit of a boost. These folks turn to crowdfunding and we help to get the word out.
This week, we look at Flux Guitars.
Flux Guitars is a new company put together by local musician Scott Gorsuch. Gorsuch has developed something called the Flux Satellite magnetic double neck guitar. Most of us have seen a double neck guitar before, but Scott says that this one is different, especially in terms of ease for the musician. The Satellite is actually two guitars that easily connect together in seconds through the use of locating pins and a neodynium magnet. The quick hook-up would make this perfect for LIVE stage performers. Scott’s video goes into greater details in terms of specs and a demonstration of the Satellite.
Scott is turning to crowdsourcing to help him transition from “patent pending” status to a costly “permanent patent.” Funding would also be used to source production materials and help Scott move from a borrowed production space into his own facility. (jj)
