Delivering jobs: UPS to fill 700 positions locally
With the holidays coming up quickly, merchants are expecting another increase in the number of customers doing their shopping online. That means more orders to ship out, more deliveries to be made and more work for package delivery services like UPS.
These days, the question “what can brown for you” might be answered with “give you a job.” UPS has announced plans to to hire 700 new workers in Central Ohio. Many positions will be seasonal, but some will be permanent.
With millions of packages soon to be shipped, expect UPS to fill positions quickly. In the meantime, the now hiring sign is on the proverbial door. (jj)
