Did you notice? Ted Williams featured in new Pepsi commercial
[youtube id=”PQ01AT5mI4Y”]When last we heard from formerly homeless deep-voiced Columbus native Ted Williams, he had announced his candidacy for president. Scratch that…he actually made news weeks later when he and his girlfriend were charged in a case involving a stolen bed comforter being returned to Walmart. Ted maintains his innocence in that case.
But now he’s back to work. Ted Williams’ voice is featured in a new TV commercial for Pepsi. In the ad, the cola company throws back to an old popular campaign…the joy of Pepsi. ba ba ba ba ba
Singer Tori Kelly appears in the spot, as do sports stars Jeff Gordon and Kyrie Irving. So far, no word on whether or not Pepsi has any plans to use Williams in additional TV commercials. It probably partially depends on Ted’s presidential campaign schedule. <rolls eyes> (jj)
