Dog shelter at full capacity
The Franklin County Dog Shelter has a message for local residents:
Calling all dog lovers! It’s time to clear the shelter! We are at full capacity and have many dogs looking for forever homes, where they can spend the holidays warm by the fireplace, under the table or next to the tree. Don’t hesitate to take a look at the wonderful collections of dogs we have here at the shelter!
The facility is offering a special deal that they hope will help to bring people through the doors. Now through Saturday, all dog and puppy adoptions are just $18. The shelter is open until noon on Wednesday and is closed on Thanksgiving. Friday hours are 11am to 7pm. Saturday hours are 9am to 5pm.
The shelter is located at 4340 Tamarack Blvd. (jj)
