Don’t bother checking the mailbox, it’s Columbus Day

Today is Columbus Day. If you’re like me, you had to work anyway. Others find themselves with the day off. Here’s a look:

• There will be no mail delivery today.
• Most government offices (city, state federal and otherwise) are closed.
• Trash will not be picked up in Columbus today.
• Most banks are closed.

Good news though…it’s free to use parking meters today.
