Fiery car crash closes S High St.

One person is in critical condition after a car crash and fire on S. High St. The crash happened around 6:30AM near S. High St. and Rathmell Rd., and when NBC’s Chopper 4 got to scene, flames and smoke were coming out of the car. Police reported that one person is in critical condition following the accident and that northbound lanes of S. High St. are closed; southbound lanes reopened just before 7:45AM. (deb)
