Flame burning out at Grandview Candle Lab as Studio 35 steps in
With Studio 35 owner Eric Brembeck taking the reigns at the Grandview Theatre, there’s lots to be done. Don’t expect to find a Studio 35 marquee on Grandview Avenue anytime soon. Brembeck expects to keep the movie house’s name…maybe with a tweak to Grandview Theatre and Drafthouse. The folks next door at Candle Lab are clearing out to make way for a restaurant / bar addition to the cinema.
Candle Lab’s last day of operations in Grandview will be on Christmas Eve. Brembeck will take over the theatre in January and hopes to have his renovations complete in March or April.
