For Ohio, it’s a gaggle of a mess

If there’s one thing Ohioans are familiar with, it’s Canadian geese. They’re everywhere: golf course, Gahanna’s Creekside, Easton, you name it. And it’s no wonder we see them ALL THE TIME – the Ohio Division of Wildlife reports that the number of Canadian geese in Ohio has doubled. Reports show that there are about 130,000 Canadian geese in Ohio; a number that’s doubled over the past 20 years (and will keep going up). And if you think the amount of geese is bad, the state knows it. It’s logged over 2,000 online geese-related complaints in the past two years.
I get seeing geese all over, but could someone please explain to me why those seagulls are only ever at Krogers? (deb)
