Former Clintonville funeral home, now a future bank
Dead money is a poker term used to describe a player who is sure to lose either due to a weak hand or poor skill at the game. Or its used to describe this person’s money at the table. It’s also the first term that came to mind when Heartland Bank announced plans to open a branch at the site of a former funeral home.
Heartland will open a Clintonville branch at the site of the former Novak Funeral Home on North High Street. The Novak building is set to be demolished and then replaced by a retail / residential development. Heartland will be one of the tenants.
Work on the property is set to begin in early 2016.
