Here’s some fun news for music fans. Grammy-nominated artist Bastille is set to play a FREE concert tonight at Columbus Commons. The four-member UK band won British Breakthrough Artist honors at last year’s Brit Awards and connected with U.S. artists as well thanks to a series of hit singles from their hit debut record Bad Blood. The concert is being put on by Pepsi and local bottler G&J as part of an effort to mark the company’s 50th anniversary.
The event will also feature food trucks, games, prize giveaways and more. Seating capacity for the show is limited. The first 3,000 people in attendance will gain access to a private viewing area. Columbus Commons gates will open at 5pm with the show starting at 8:30. (jj)
