House fire injures 1-year-old

A house fire broke out late last night, leaving a one-year-old with minor burns. Around 11:30PM, Columbus firefighters responded to a house fire (along S Napoleon Ave.). The family says that the fire broke out after a cellphone overheated and caught a mattress on fire. A one-year-old received minor burns and was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Firefighters are continuing their investigation. (deb)
