I-670W closes for weekend repairs

It’s gonna be a little harder to get around (down)town for the next few weekends. The ODOT has started closing down parts of I-670 in order to repair and resurface the roadway. Today, they’re shutting down I-670W/I-71N. But fear not! Everything will reopen on Monday (5/4) by 5AM. (deb)

Schedule for Friday (5/1):

  • 9 PM – I-670W closed
    • Traffic must either go to I-71N or I-71S
  • 10 PM – I-70E reduced to two lanes between Short St. and I-71N
    • I-70W reduced to two lanes between Miller-Kelton and I-71N 
  • 9 PM – ramps from I-71S to I-670W close
    • Traffic re-routed to I-70W
  • 10 PM – ramps from I-70E and I-70W to I-71N close
    • Detour: SR 315N to I-270E to I-71N

Ramps closing on Friday (5/1) at 8PM – I-670W:

  • Dublin Rd. to I-670W to I-70
    • Detour: Dublin Rd. E to SR 315S
  • Grandview Ave. to I-670W
    • Detour: Dublin Rd. E to SR 315S I-70W
  • SR 315S to I-670W
    • Detour: SR 315S to I-70W
  • Goodale Blvd. to I-670W (Olentangy River Rd. to SR 315S, I-70W)
