L.L.Bean is permanently in place
The outdoorsy retailer is putting its rubber boot down at Easton. Earlier this year, L.L. Bean announced that they’d open a pop-up shop at Easton (in the current Jos. A Bank spot) this July. It seemed like the little storefront was a way for the retailer to test the market and gauge interest in a permanent store. And while they haven’t even opened the pop-up shop, it looks like interest was high enough. L.L. will open a permanent store in time for the holiday (Christmas) season. It’ll go into the Container Store’s current spot, across from Nordstrom. (deb)

L.L.Bean pops up at Easton
While Easton hasn’t said anything official, L.L.Bean is pretty much ready to go. The clothing retailer announced that they’re opening a (pop-up) store in Columbus at Easton. But you’ll have to go to their job posting page to find out about it. And while details are scarce, it looks like they’re taking up space from July-Oct. in the 4,700sqft spot currently home to Jos. A Bank. It’ll be interesting to see if the temporary store hikes up interest for a permanent store. (deb)
