LGBT equality in the workplace: a look at (614) companies
The Human Right Campaign is out with their 2016 Corporate Equality Index, a look at some of the best places to work in terms of LGBT equality. More than 400 companies nationwide were rated on criteria such as:
- prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity
- offering partner health insurance
- engagement with the LGBT community
Among Central Ohio companies, perfect scores of 100 were earned by Abercrombie & Fitch, Cardinal Health, Huntington Bancshares and Nationwide. Here’s a look at some of our other local businesses and their scores:
