Mystery fun at new Chamber Escape Room
You’re trapped. A dozen of you. Inside of a locked room with no apparent way out. Do the walls feel like they’re beginning to close in on you? Will you ever find your way out?
This sounds like just the test of mental endurance that I call fun. The folks behind the new Chamber Escape Room on East Dublin-Granville Road hope that its your idea of a good time too. Opening up this weekend, the Chamber Escape Room bills itself as a “real-life escape game.” You and 11 others find yourself inside of a room and have to solve its mystery to earn your way out. Working together as a group, you’ll deal with complex clues, codes and challenges to piece everything together and make your eventual escape. But they warn you, be mindful of the clock. Your challenge lasts exactly 45 minutes. At that point, presumably someone breaks it to you that you’ve lost and then ushers you out because the next group is ready to play.
