One “seis” fits all

File this under: better late than never. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is getting four new seismometers to watch for fracking-related earthquakes. Two of the new digital monitors will be placed in the western/northwestern part of the state, while locations for the other two haven’t been determined yet. All in all, that’ll give Ohio 23 seismometers. Seems like a pretty good idea – especially given the controversy over fracking and its effects. (deb)
