Post office takes new name as Dublin honors fallen soldiers
With the help of Congressman Pat Tiberi (R) and State Representative Mike Duffey (R) , the Dublin post office has been officially renamed the Lance Corp. Wesley G. Davids and Capt. Nicholas J. Rozanski Memorial Post Office. The ceremony held Tuesday paid tribute to Davids ( a graduate of Dublin Scioto) and Rozanski (a graduate of Dublin High School, now Dublin Coffman).
Army National Guard Capt. Nicholas Rozanski died at age 36 in Afghanistan in 2012. Marine Lance Corp. Wesley G. Davids died at age 20 in Iraq in 2005.
While the naming of a building will certainly not replace any lives lost, may it help their memories live on in their hometown.
