A number of central Ohio massage parlors were raided on Wednesday by agents with the state Attorney General’s office and the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force. Two locations in Columbus, plus one in Powell and one in Worthington received not-so-welcome visits from authorities. Attorney General Mike DeWine says that the move was an effort to thwart suspected sex crimes and human trafficking at the establishments. Two arrests were reported. Police Commander Gary Cameron says that today was not just about making apprehensions, but also about “rescuing those who may be victims of this heinous crime.” (jj)
