Startup Weekend Columbus returns

Columbus is consistently mentioned as one of the top cities in the nation for business startups. That said…we’re about to show off again.

Startup Weekend Columbus is coming back! August 21st through 23rd, more than 100 developers, designers and would-be business leaders will come together to pitch their ideas, hone their concepts and improve their chances of success.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their promising ideas to present that Friday night. Ideas of all sorts are welcome, but those that are ‘tech’ in nature will be the most likely to thrive at this event. Once those pitches are made, teams form around the top proposals. Those teams then work through the weekend to flesh out the ideas in more detail and develop them creatively into something with a real chance of success. On Sunday night, the final ideas are presented to a panel of judges. Winners are then selected and prizes awarded.

For someone who thinks that they have an idea that could really be something, this exciting weekend could be the launch that they’ve been looking for.
