Statehouse goes Scarlet and Gray for Buckeye celebration
The Buckeyes were honored at the Ohio Statehouse for their national championship win. Coach Meyer and several players received honors from the House and Senate and spent a half-hour with Gov. Kasich. During the event, Meyer said:
It’s an honor to bring back the Big Ten Championship, the Sugar Bowl Championship, and the National Championship right where it belongs – the great state of Ohio
The championship trophy was also on public display at the Statehouse over the past weekend. (deb)
