Starting on April 1st (no joking around), The National Weather Service will implement a new change in severe weather warnings. The SWS Cleveland office, along with several neighboring locations, will start putting out Impact Based Severe Weather Warnings, which will use a format that’s been used recently. These warnings give more detailed info on storms like hail size and probability of storm risk. And with all the rain and storms we’ve been having, I’m glad we’re getting the “latest and greatest” in storm technology. (deb)
