Columbus man attacks mail carrier over postal pot
A 29 year-old Columbus man was sentenced to 53 months in prison for assaulting a female mail carrier over a package containing six pounds of marijuana. The case dates back to January of 2014 when Gregory Braxton parked near a postal service vehicle and approached the carrier saying that she had a package for him. When she asked him for identification, he slugged her in the face and left her unconscious. (jj)
