Update: Suspect identified in hotel shooting

Earlier this month, a man walked into the Extended Stay America Hotel on Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and shot a woman in the lobby. When police arrived on the scene, she was responsive and taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Now, police have released the name of the suspect they believe is responsible for the shooting: Marquan Lorenzo Marshall. Marshall is considered armed and dangerous. A warrant for his arrest on felonious assault charges has been issued.

Woman shot at Dublin area hotel

Police are investigating a shooting that took place last night at the Extended Stay America Hotel near The Mall at Tuttle Crossing. Last night around 8:45PM, a woman was shot by a man at the hotel; she was responsive and taken to the hospital. The suspect was last seen fleeing the hotel. Police do not believe that the attack was random and are asking for anyone with information to call the Dublin Police Department at 614-889-1112. (deb)
